Here are the details for the practice tournament hosted by Kamiak, coming up on 10/10.
Please put on your calendar Saturday, Oct 10th as the date for our first tournament. This is a practice tournament so all novices are encouraged to attend. It is designed to be a learning experience, and no-pressure. Returning debaters are welcome to judge and observe arguments about the topic. This would be good experience before Whitman.
Ask your parent to volunteer. We need two parent drivers or else we will be limited in the number of students we can transport.
We will depart from each school at 6:45AM. It is an early morning. Debates begin at 10AM, but we must register starting at 8AM. We will return at 10PM to each school.
Please bring food for the day. They will sell pizza by the slice at lunchtime, but a more healthy/cheaper option is to brown bag it. We will try to arrange a trip off campus for food if there is time.
Please RSVP by this Wednesday, 9/30.This includes returning debaters who would like to judge.
