Dear Speech and Debate Friends,

Greetings from Stanford Debate, and we hope that your spring semester is off to a great start! We're excited to let you know about some of the highlights of this summer's programs, including the return of the highly popular Coaches Institute scholarship drawing!

Our most popular camp offerings from past years will be returning this summer, including the popular Coaches Institute, but we are especially pleased to announce a few new programs:
We are offering a brand new 4 week Policy debate experience in Palo Alto next summer! Brian Manuel of Planet Debate and Lakeland HS will serve as the curriculum director of this new program, and John Hines of College Prep (CPS) will return to the SNFI as a lab leader for this special program.
Based on overwhelming interest, we are offering a two-week beginner's lab, with an option for a third week! This program will start from the ground-up, teaching students both the structure and skills necessary to begin their novice year prepared for success.
By popular demand, we are offering a 2 week Parliamentary camp! This program will maintain the trademarks of the SNFI Parliamentary program--large numbers of practice rounds critiqued by talented college debaters and a mix of pragmatic, philosophical and strategic lectures while giving students the opportunity to attain a higher level of skill and proficiency.
We will offer a 1 week middle school debate program which will focus on the Bay Area middle school format and transitioning to high school debate.

We hope to see you next month for our tournament and this summer at one of our Speech and Debate programs!

-SNFI Staff
